    Google Pixel 10 Series Launched in India; Prices Start at ₹79,999

    The lineup includes four new phones, the Pixel Watch 4, and new Pixel Buds 2a, and is now available for pre-order ahead of its August 28th release.

    Google on Wednesday unveiled its latest hardware lineup, introducing the Pixel 10 series of smartphones, which includes a standard model, two Pro versions, and an updated foldable. The launch expands Google’s smartphone offerings with updates to the camera capabilities, a Magsafe-like charging accessory, new coloursand more. Launched alongside were the new Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a.

    The new family of devices is headlined by the Pixel 10, the more powerful Pixel 10 Pro, the larger Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the now IP68 Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Pre-orders for the new phones are now live, with devices set to be available from August 28th.

    A Pixel for Every Pocket

    Google has announced a tiered lineup with specific pricing and variants for India.

    • Pixel 10: The sole model is priced at ₹79,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. For the first time in the standard model, there’s a triple rear camera system, including a 48MP wide lens, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. It has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ OLED display and will be available in Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass, and Obsidian colours.
    • Pixel 10 Pro & 10 Pro XL: The Pixel 10 Pro range starts at ₹1,09,999, while the larger 10 Pro XL is priced at ₹1,24,999. Both models come with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. They feature a camera system with a 50MP main sensor and two 48MP lenses for ultrawide and telephoto shots. The Pixel 10 Pro sports a 6.3-inch Super Actua display, while the 10 Pro XL has a larger 6.8-inch screen with LTPO. Colour options for the Pro include Moonstone, Jade, Porcelain, and Obsidian, while the Pro XL will come in Moonstone, Jade, and Obsidian. The larger Pro phone gets upto 45W wired charging, whilew for the 10 Pro wired charging is capped at 25W.
    • Pixel 10 Pro Fold: The updated foldable is priced at ₹1,72,999 for the 16GB RAM and 256GB storage model. It boasts an 8-inch main display when unfolded and is powered by the new Tensor G5 chip, similar to its siblings. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be available in October, in a single Moonstone colour option in India.

    The Broader Ecosystem

    Beyond the phones, Google also refreshed its accessory lineup. The Pixel Watch 4 arrives in two sizes, with the 41mm variant priced at ₹39,900 and the 45mm model at ₹43,900. The smartwatch features a brighter display and a new user interface running on WearOS 6. For the first time, the Pixel Watch will now have AI built-in which means that there will be AI-assistant features outside of just the messaging app. The battery is also larger and there’s a new charging puck that allows the watch to rest on its side while charging. An important update is the fact that there are screws on the side that make it possible to repair the Pixel Watch 4. Annoyingly, the LTE variant will not be available in India again.

    For audio, the new Pixel Buds 2a are priced at ₹12,999. For the first time in the A-series, these earbuds come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and are available in two new colours, Iris and Hazel. A notable update is that the charging case now features a replaceable battery. Th

    All the new Pixel 10 phones run on the new Tensor G5 chipset and will come with Android 16 preloaded, with Google promising seven years of OS and security updates. The phones also come equipped with several new software tools, including a “Camera Coach” to help frame shots and other features powered by Google’s Gemini assistant.
